Not a bad signing for Saracens! Will he adapt to union, and where will he play!

Is Saracens the right club for his development though, especially with England wanting him for the '07 World Cup at the latest - early rumours of him being picked for England's summer tour. If Sarries pull out all the stops though, I think he will be a success, moreso than Harris was anyhow. I'd play him at 12. Some are saying he'll go straight in at no.8. No chance, there's a world of difference between 8 in league and 8 in union. Is his body going to be able to take the required pushing etc needed in the scrums for starters. There's the issue of gain-line breaking etc (which we've seen SQ do from the base of the scrum), which is why I'd plonk him in at 12.

Yeah I hadn't realised he'd been playing since he was 16 years old, that's quite young in League terms, I believe. Apparently Botica was one of his mentors - some bloke to follow, innit.

yeah, he's been playing top flight rugby for 13 years and had an operation on a dodgy knee in january which has sidelined him for 4 months. he's 30 in may and i think he's not big enough for a forward and too slow for a back. he's a world class rugby league player but i can't see him making the switch as he's left it too late.

i think it's a huge gamble because of injuries and age, it could pay off big time though if he can show the class he has shown in league.
The stadium may change, but the dream will remain the same!
