Hoping Tom Phillips has an injury free year this year just to get used to being back playing then features well next year.
Don’t know if he’d be able to cope with the physicality of today’s match vs Leinster yet, as an example.

He should be at 6'3 and 17st5

Tom is nothing like 6’3!
Well he a fair bit taller than our boy who is 5'10". I will ask him to find out as he's a Llangennech player.

Tom's major failing is he's too committed. He flies into hits with scant regard for his own safety and picks up injuries. He has the potential to be great, just needs to throttle back on occasions.

Lets just say that Tom has the physical attributes required to be a success at 6. He also appears to have the brain as he captained the under 20's successfully and always came across in a measured sensible tone. Now he needs to get some games under his belt injury free and if he comes through that ok he will be a decent squad addition during the Autumn.

If you think size = physicality you have no clue, or we’d just be feeding our forwards McDonalds x 7 every day..
Clueless.

Being physically big and strong is part of it you clueless idiot being 11 stone as a forward would be no good
You just said it yourself being big and strong is part of it. Just being big and strong means nothing if you’re constantly injured.
The point I was making is that Tom Phillips has had a tough year with injuries, so throwing him back in to a game vs one of the best drilled and most physical packs in Europe would be daft. Even if he is “6’3 and 17st5”.

Size has nothing to do with it ? Explain why Tom Price was told to add bulk, Shingler also added bulk

Nobody has mentioned him yet but I thought jevan. Sebastian was outstanding last night. He scrummaged well and his work around the field was really good.
I'm sick of it

Enjoyed the game, both sides looking to throw the ball around,Steff had a mixed night scored 2 tries, one was pick up from a ruck on the line the other was a supporting line that he was on the end of..he missed a one on one tackle late on for their last try,Tom Phillips worked hard all night carrying hard hope he can stay injury free and can get games under his belt..
