It's up there with being allowed to shoot a Welshman with a crossbow within the city walls of Chester during the hours of darkness.

Just watched May's statement.

Basically she's the only one marching in time with the band.

What an arrogant woman.

Though not delt a great hand, she is surely one of the least effective PMs ever.

Is there anything she can't balls up?

She should have taken more time to think things through. The referendum was ADVISORY and not binding. Therefore she should have thought things through more thoroughly before ditching the idea !

The Scots May be down about their footy team thrashing in Kazakhstan.

One of the few consolations is that their team still is better than the Westminster collective.

Over 1million people (by the organiser's claim admittedly) joined the march for a people's vote this week; putting it on a par with the biggest march of the century, the Stop The War march in 2003. Clap

Meanwhile over 5m have signed the petition to Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU. Clap

Why don't people realise that the vote was advisory. It was NOT binding.

Well, if the PM can take her unchanged deal back to the house for a second or third time in the hope that she can convince more MPs to back her deal so that it can pass, then why can't the people vote to have a second referendum based on the deal that's actually on the table?

Brexit is an absolute embarrassment in which the way it has been handled, no wonder we have millions wanting to revoke article 50, and those millions are both remainers and leavers.

So it looks like we will end up with a parliament deal or a 2nd referendum on this final deal or remain

I think that may be the last best option that sort of half keeps everyone happy

The argument will be on both sides ...........Those against it say no its been voted on leave means leave....the opponents say lets do it again everyone was lied too
everyone always lied too at elections

BUT 3 years later , things have moved on, we know way way more....the question is what would a referendum ask?

I think maybe the referendum should be

choose
1) parliaments final exit plan. whatever that finally ends up being
or
2) Remain

Isnt that fair? we have tried all variables and ended up with this choice
