Both Bedwas and Bridgend catch us = relegation
One team catches us = play-off with Pontypool With 6 points behind us, one game in hand and two to play, I'm not sure Bedwas will manage it. With 8 points behind us, 3 games in hand and 4 to play, Bridgend might catch us but they might need 8 Ospreys and Dafydd James in their team!

If we beat Neath with a bonus point Bedwas cannot catch us,and with regards Bridgend the RFC having a superior points difference they will need to get 14 match points to take over Llanelli and avoid playing Pontypool in a play off game .

One of the best games of rugby I've seen all season. Nice to see Phil Bennett, Alan Donovan, Mark Davies and Anthony Buchanan in attendance

If the Scarlets and RFC can get the formulae right and we have a suitable blend of our young local players and some Academy players with the odd Scarlets squad player/ returning from injury players on the field, I am optimistic we would be successful and bring in the support and be a credit to the town

We looked so good in attack. We were cutting them up whenever we ran at them.
Holding on to possession and not turning over ball was what let Swansea into the game. Ar diwedd y dydd, we held on and won the game with 5 points.

Good to hear that there was a good crowd there. The excitement of a relegation battle!
Looking at Bridgends remaining games Bargoed away - possinle 4/5 points Cross Keys Home - probable 4/5 points Aberavon Away - probably 0 points Pontypridd Away - Probably 0 points So if Llanelli beat Neath with 5 points as it should be then go 13 points clear of Bridgend. The only downfall is that should they beat Bargoed and Cross Keys and end up just 2 points behind Llanelli , they will be highly motivated to get a result against Aberavon or Ponty and with the Ponty game being a week after the Neath game Bridgend would know exactly what they need |

I think its 50/50 between us and Bridgend. We'll get the 5 points against Neath and Bargoed will be relegated. If we do get the playoff, how does that work? One-off game or home and away? When will it be played? Possibility of Scarlets and the RFC playing their games on the same weekend? LOL 2 wins - 1 win/1 loss - 2 losses??

That looks about right - don't think Bedwas can do it... Bridgend is 50:50, probably.
