This weekend, the Leicester Tigers made it into the Aviva Premiership play-offs after a tough season, then Leicester's Mark Selby became world snooker champion for the second time. There was bound to be a third.

Unbelievable achievement.
Saw them earlier this season (during Vardy's goal run) and they were tenacious but didn't seem like Champions. Have to say that Spurs seemed a better team. I have to reiterate a post I made earlier this season and say that the gap between the haves and the have-nots have closed. The whole Leicester team was worth half Kevin de Bruyne. Yet, is the Belgian really worth the added cost? Unless teams like City and United start bidding for the likes of Bale and Messi, the gap will continue to narrow, especially when a team has a 20 goals a year striker (or two with Leicester). Fantastic achievement. |
