Following tonight's article in the Post - the anti housing group intend handing in a 1500 strong petition against the plans - is this not the sort of thing we should be addressing, to facilitate the counter argument?
There is a deafening silence from all those supporters of the new stadium who seem to expect it to get the go ahead simply because they think the Scarlets/CCC are in a position to make it happen according to their timescale.

Should we be looking at

I could'nt  agree more Gareth.

If we're going to get anything done about this, then we'll need to move VERY quickly, and get petition forms ready for the remaining home games, with ALL of us circulating to get them signed. We would also need permission from Stradey to do so.  (Official / Unofficial backing ?) Also possible at the same time to distribute leaflets publicising our intention to form the trust???????? (Subject to meeting SG of course). It might even open the door to getting help with the cost of leafleting/publicity.

I agree with both of you.  We should do something: a] because it's right and b] because it will establish our bona fides with SG.
I think we need to meet again; suggestions anyone?

I agree as well. Human nature is only to protest if you're against something, the voice of the minority is often louder.  I think somone needs to state the obvious - the we must have a new stadium.

Halfway Hotel again? I'm trying to put a piece together for the blog sometime today. Also the wording for any online petition - any suggestions?

Cheers.

This is a good idea and I'm all for it and will do anything I can.

Meeting next week is good for me. Monday night would actually be perfect.

I'm on-call at the hospital on Wednesday but available for the rest of the week.

Looks like it will have to be a day where the majority are available rather than us all.
