With Beirne leaving, barclay is a must keep along with Cubby. Losing a lot of turnover specialists there that are key to our success.

Really hope Barclay does not leave. He is class on and off the field. True leader. Don't want cubby going anywhere either needs to hang on and let the present welsh regime go

Where is their forum?

Just to rub salt in the wound my ketchup at the Scarlets said there are rumours that they have signed Moriarty for next season and they are looking at Seb Davies (Blues) to replace Beirne. They may rest some players for Saturday to concentrate on the Toulon game. Where is all this money coming from?

Ospreys are after Seb Davies as well
On an NDC at around £500k apparently. Shocked

Are we looking at bringing in Seb Davies or is that just web talk!?
Yes
Can't see blues letting one of their best youngsters leave to another region.

They wouldn't be letting him go and it's not up to them. He's out of contract and their current financial position is very precarious
They're looking to chop £600k from the wage bill. I'll be absolutely amazed if they're not WRU owned by Sept 18

True, but what I meant by "letting go" was not being able to offer him a decent deal to stay.
If he leaves, things are far worse than I thought at the Blues.
Do you know if we are in for him? Or is it all just rumours at the moment?
They are much, much worse.

The position with the Blues may well change if the WRU take them over or whatever the term is.

Their players may then be able to stay with the Blues.
Be careful when you pick up the stick.........IT MAY BE THE WRONG END!!!!!!!!!!

All players have their contracts terminated? That comment raises more questions than it answers....for a start- will there be a regional team in the capital?

Good grief.......

Whoa! I didn't say that!! Was referring to the out-of-contract players.

Warburton's the best 7 in the UK

Warburton would just make it into the best three opensides playing in Wales for me.  He is a handy, across the backrow type player, like Robshaw but isn't an openside in the same way Ellis, Tipuric, Cubby or Boyde are.
Warburton's a test Lion and has been world class for Wales and the Lions. Obviously his injury record isn't ideal and has held him back somewhat, but he's reached levels that those three haven't reached. Wales will really miss him in the Autumn

One of the others hasn't been given the chance to move to the next level , so how do we know who is better or deserving ?.
Personally think Warburton is a better 6 than 7 nowadays , think your talking about the Warburton of a couple of years ago .

Ospreys have a bit of money sloshing about after Webbiggargate.

We will really need to cut in to our squad to find another 200k for Moriarty.

Not a popular statement but would we keep Barclay if Moriarty is coming? Also it depends whether these extra 2 teams come on board to add revenue like the SA teams did plus a new TV deal may add to the coffers.
