We were not accurate tonight in our concentration levels.

3 offside, 2 not rolling away, and 1 high shot. - 6 penalties = 18 points.

The frustrating thing is that if we had those opportunities when Priestland was kicking for us, he would have missed at least two!!!

I will ask him if he can pick my lottery numbers for me tonight.WinkWinkWinkWinkWink

Onward and upward.

We can and will win the remaining pool games as we have got something to prove to ourselves, and show those who are ready to stick the knife in that we are still a bloody good side.

Lets push on and consolidate our Pro 14 positions, and put last night down to a bad day at the office.

The high shot was harsh, I thought - and they didn't roll away often, but got away with it.

However, we were well beaten - it wasn't down to the ref.

Agreed, particularly when you consider that a little later, Priestland, right in front of the ref, had hold of Samson around his neck and Poite ignored it.

Right nasty bit of work is Rhys! Sadly the best team won. Their 9 kicked much better than Cawdor and Rhys played so well. Such a shame before that big crowd as well. Wink

What sticks in the throat is that two very similar incidents end up with different outcomes. The referee wasn't consistent.

That is excellent, especially on a Friday night in weather like that.

There was a bus down from  y Bala and a number of our gog fans were driving down in terrible conditions. Hope everybody returned safely - it wasn't exactly carefree driving back along the M4 to Cardiff!!

That's exactly what we said last night, a lack of a Plan B hurt us - Bath didn't come to play rugby, but to stop us playing and that's they succeeded.

We needed to change it up, but couldn't / didn't.

goes to show, 7:45pm kick off in horrible weather conditions, a very good crowd all things considered.

its easier to make a journey from Bath than say Treviso/Glasgow etc....

Probably more supporters form Bath than we have seen in our previous 3 Pro 14 games against Kings/Edinburgh/Connacht put together....Tongue

There weren't very many Bath Fans present, certainly not enough to explain the big increase. Our success, as expected, had a major positive on attendance. Some problems with this, roads outside PYS leading to car parks were very slow before KO. New system of entry led to long queues at the turnstiles. I would question why we only have half of them open.

I would add though that it's a good problem to have.

Very pleasing crowd figures and it did seem busier approaching the ground , shame about the weather which might have put some off and spoilt the game a bit as a spectacle to encourage those extra people to come again but hopefully they will and our style of play will continue to attract good crowds.
