Just wondering if anyone has heard any rumours about potential signings for next season?

This is normally the time of year when the rumour mill starts turning.

Would like a carrying 8, and also a flying back three player. A big Fijian perhaps?

Rumour of a South African 8 coming in but that's not very reliable.
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

Hopefully Michael Collins could be on his way back. Only signed up with the Blues & Otago to the end of their current season

Playing well for the Blues
In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court, for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.

Collins seems to be their first-choice fullback: I can't imagine he'll be going anywhere next season.

Why? We can pay him more money and there's the carrot of test rugby. Super Rugby is losing players at a rate of knots

There's the carrot of a NZ cap as well for the five first choice Super rugby full backs. OK Smith is the incumbent and Jordie Barritt is 20 and fantastic but a coupe of injuries and Collins has a chance. And I suspect an AB jersey would be a bit more special to him than the Welsh one.

He'll never play for the All Blacks. He's not quick enough.

He really hasn't got much of a chance of playing for the All Blacks. He's a good player but unfortunately there's a handful of far better 15's than him in NZ. If McNicholl never got capped Collins hasn't got much of a chance

I don't think we're going to chuck money at Michael Collins, are we?

And he's not going to be capped ahead of Shove or Sanjay. Patchell's more likely to play 15 for Wales than Collins.

I'd love to have Mike back.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh
