Where is he? Injured, not in favour, or in one of the feeder clubs

I don't think not having Clayton in the Scarlets is a factor in any way to our loss against a more powerful Cardiff team with bulk. However, I totally agree we all want him to step up and hope this happens. A bigger 'loss' has been Hassem as we need more forward power so hope he gets back asap and performs as we need the cavalry.

Watched him struggle against Leinster A in the final. Out of breath and position most of the time.

Gutted, I was really excited about his arrival.

Yes I remember your comment Speedy - unbelievable that after all this time fitness remains an issue. I think its fair to say that we were all excited when his signing was announced. Lets hope he can knuckle down and prove us wrong.

He walked past the south stand on Saturday, in dirty kit, and with his arm looking like it was in a sling.

If you check his attacking stats, and consider he was playing for the whipping boys of the league last year, then he was a very reasonable acquisition. Lowish cost too.

His time is/was during the international windows...bit like Matawalu for Glasgow...

Yes I have given up on Clayton or indeed Casseim. It was, lets remember, around Xmas 2016 that Tadhg burst onto the scene and played almost every game for the remaining 18 months of his contract. No pressure then UzairWink

tbh I think matawalu is a step above this lad, both similar strengths and weaknesses though eg game breakers with pace but shaky in defence.

the guy was a punt and a risk worth taking, sometimes punts don't  pay off but he could still come good

matawalu would certainly be on a far higher salary to

Massive change for them coming from South Africa to Llanelli.

Its going to take time for them to adjust to their new lives, new surroundings etc. Huge changes that must have an effect on form.

Sometimes people can't adjust to new surroundings. Think if you changed jobs and went to work in South Africa! Massive step to take regardless of how good the money might be.

Some adjust quicker than others, some never adjust. Any overseas signing is a gamble for those reasons alone.

Hopefully we will see the best of both of them in months to come, if we don't, it doesn't make them bad players , it just means they've struggled to adjust to new surroundings.
Go ahead..........Take those banana's

Seen he’s playing for Llanelli RFC again this week

Is he just not very good or is he still not fit enough for P14 level?

Can anyone who watches more than me pass judgement as to why he can’t get near our team?

He has been injured and he needs game time. Prydie also plays for the RFC on Saturday 👍

This would be claytons first game since being injured for over 2 months.
Needs game time. Wise to play him in Llanelli RFC. If he proves himself in next week or so on the training field, he might feature v Cheetahs.
