I’m pleased with that first half performance. Hopefully we’ll manage the conditions in the second half

good first half, if boys improve their technical skills they back the dangerous team we know...

Agree. Much improvement across the park. Lousi and Kalamafoni carrying well and Mcnicholl and Conbeer excellent.

Jonny Mac entering the line is creating havoc.
Credit to Conbeer, 2 good finishes, the 2nd one was top drawer. Looking for territory via Dan’s boot in the 2nd half. |

Fingers crossed - some of the best rugby we’ve played though. Refs missed a high tackle or two for us yet pinged us. Great energy from the boys.

Hope they bring Homer on soon. Blacker slower than Cawdor getting the ball away

Much better first half there. Lousi is having a big impact, but could he PLEASE stop giving away so many utterly daft penalties! Back play looks much better, although it seemed like we were slightly poor in the middle 20 minutes of that half. The move on 33 minutes is probably the first time I remember an offloading move from us all season, and we made 50 yards from it! Finally Blacker seemed slightly poor for me, I can remember two moves where a player had to stop from first phase attack as the pass was behind him, and a phase where he threw a pass ahead of Asquith, causing a knock on. Let’s hope he improves second half as we’ll be up against it with the wind in their favour.

Still slow in possession, an age to get the ball out and the passes aren’t that good when they come. Twice we’ve knocked it on. Its much better than last week but we are forwards are waiting far too long. We are kicking alot, wind against us are we going to play the conditions?

I feel discipline will be the key to the 2nd half.
We are a marked team so need to be whiter that white. If we can win some ball in their half, we have a chance.

Have to watch it again, but kalimafoni break with knock on by Steff Evs, actually was deliberate knock down by Connacht defender.
Much better by us, set piece on top, gives front foot ball, Jonny makes both tries with great pace and superb skills , strong finishing by Conbeer. Well done boys.

What a try. Johnny Mac prominant again. He's into MOTM territory in my opinion.
