This might have been covered elsewhere so sorry if it has.

What is the situation with Cubby.
I know he has a back injury but it seems pretty serious to have him out this long!!

He did not play that much during the WC so it is a worry for me.

I hope he is back soon as we cannot flog Josh even though he has been brilliant for us so far.

Cubby back in training could be fit for Irish.

Update from Brad is that Cubby is not far off. Players now fit for selection are Fonotia, Tom Phillips, Dan Davis & Tom Prydie.

Be great to have a fully fit squad ....eventually
In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"        Roger going life is good.

Come on Roy ,we all love Cubby but Tips is a stronger player when fit and on form than Cubby . With no disrespect to Cubby who is a very decent player.

Tom  Phillips seems to have such bad injuries and prior to the last injury I thought he was having a run of games building but then he got injured! Fingers crossed. He has certainly bulked up in last 12 months

Absolute rubbish.

Cubby is clearly a lot better out wide. More pace, better hands, better runner.

Statistically he also wins more turnovers.

the only place tips wins is probably his tackling percentage.

Perhaps he offers more from ruck to ruck but its hard to gauge.

Tipuric is a better tackler and is one of the most consistent players around. I would like to see a race between them they are both very quick. Cubby was a turnover machine and when he played with Barclay their partnership was world class. I would say Macleod is ahead of Cubby now from what we have seen this season.

So now Gatland is gone, do you think will overtake Tipuric as Wales' no.1 openside based on what Pivac knows?

I'll have a bet that the status quo will remain.

Cubby is not a better openside than Tipuric.

Tipuric is proven at international level. Cubby is not.
