Looking ahead did I hear that there is no AW or B&I next year?? If the SA teams join and we have the 2 conferences into a second single division later, there may not be any weekends spare anyway I guess.
My worry is, where on earth are the extended squad going to get any experience of playing above WP level which is simply not enough !

I don't know the answer, but FWIW the BT announcement for the 2018-19 season mentions that they'll be showing the AW cup, so if that is information as opposed to an assumption, presumably it'll be ongoing. No idea about the B&I.

Haven't seen/heard anything about no AW, we are not involved in the Prem sevens this year that's all that has been confirmed.

Well, there must be a 'magic money tree' somewhere, as May found £1 billion growing on one to hand to the DUP! I suggest the Scarlets/pro-12 organisers send out a search party pronto, to try to find it.

There's a new title sponsor for the Welsh-Anglo Cup this season, but so much hinges on the SA expansion that the minor competitions will have to wait to be confirmed. No Welsh clubs in the Premiership Sevens this month, which now all takes place on one weekend at Franklin's Gardens (28/29 Jul).

Aviva have reversed their decision on Premiership sponsorship - they had announced they were to quit from next season, but have now renewed.
