I just wish we didn't have the next two games in Europe.

I cant see us getting anything from either game with our current squad situation, and could end up having a hammering especially at Racing, which would do nothing to our confidence which is pretty fragile at the moment.
Also there is the risk of picking up more injuries God forbid!!

What team should we pick therefore to try and produce a decent showing.

Remembering that the Tigers are also out of contention, they may bring a 'squad' side, however they dont have the injuries we have so will still be pretty strong.

We are limited with our selection as we cannot add to the squad as it is now because we have used our maximum replacements,so of yesterday's 23 Tom Phillips cannot be selected .

Thats a shame because he did enough when he came on to warrant a start. I was concerned when I saw him overlooked from a starting position against the Dragons but it all made sense when Pivac stated that he was coming back from a HIA and had only trained fully once.

Based on this weekend 12 of our HC squad were on the injured list.

A shallow pool for selection for Europe isn’t helpful,.

I can see us making a few changes to our nominated pool of players before the next two rounds.

Tom Phillips for one isn't in our nominated squad.

So hypothetically, if we didn't have sufficient front row cover due to injuries in the nominated player pool, we'd have forfeit the tie? 🤔

Might be special case for front rowers?

I can see a team like this play vs Leicester.
15- Johnny McNicholl
14- Tom Prydie
13- Jonathan Davies
12- Hadleigh Parkes
11- Paul Asquith
10- Dan Jones
9- Gareth Davies
8- Ken Owens
7- Dan Davis
6- Ed Kennedy
5- Josh Helps
4- David Bulbring
3- Samson Lee
2- Ryan Elias
1- Rob Evans

Replacements
16- Marc Jones
17- Wyn Jones
18- Werner Kruger
19- Tom Price
20- Lewis Rawlins
21- Sam Hidalgo Clyne
22- Steff Hughes
23- Steff Evans

Despite being out of Europe I'd like to think we would not want to get a pasting at home from Leicester. Surely its in our best interest to build momentum from last night and try and gain another win?

We have no choice but to keep selecting the same players, they are the only one's fit and available anyway!

Lets approach this one with the same attitude as if we were still in the competition - pride in our home record is important too.
