Whose your all  time favourite player? It doesn't necessarily have to be the best either.Personally I have a few. Phil May Martin Gravelle, Simon Easterby.

However Johny Griff would be my choice. My rugby  period covers  from 1984 onwards so I couldn't really select players that I never saw live

Those that I have seen play (showing my age) but avoiding more recent players and currently playing, by period they played

Benny ..Legend
Grav legend
Delme legend
Barry Llewellyn...a prop with skills should be playing in todays game
Paul Ringer … crucified by English press for being too good
Ieuan Evans... class act
Mark Perego … a modern day flanker ahead of his time
Laurance Delany … gave all every game
Scott Q … before he left
Jiffy .. stayed longer than Barry John

I was there ...one Tuesday when the All Blacks came (and lost)

That's a good list - you must be about the same vintage as me!

I have a particular soft spot for Benny, as he's the same age as me to a fortnight or so, and I first saw him play (unplayably!) at 15 in the Llanelli 7s.

A few others I'd include:

Norman Gale (hard man, captain, coach - and goal kicker!)
Terry Price - a fantastic talent
Clive John - talented and destructive 7
Roy Bergiers - must be on the list for 'that' try

There are any number of greats from more recent times, too.
I share no-one's ideas. I have my own.

How about the One Man Riot?

Regan King was probably the best player I've seen in a Scarlets jersey so would get my vote. Finau, B. Davies were great to watch for excitement, Stevo, Dwayne two of my other favourite players and then KenO, Scott W in modern times.
