Whatever happened to the giant flag that we were trying to get ? I thought that the region were sorting out getting one made - is this still going on or has it been dropped for some reason?

Where are we with this now? The HC starts 3 weeks tomorrow so it would be good to have it in time for that.

Can we get a move on with this, then?

It doesn't have to be a flashy design - just a big YMA O HYD in white on a red background would work perfectly IMO.

Anyway, can someone let us know where we are?

We met with the club 2 weeks ago to discuse this issue.

We had quotes for 2 sizes of flags

6 * 4 M (19' 8" * 13' for the old folk Smile)

and

9 * 6 M (29' 3" * 19' 8")

Due to cost it looks like we will get the 6 *4 one

We are organising the ordering of the flag, the Scarlets are paying for it and donating it to the Trust.

As soon as we have dates for it we will let you know.

Just out of intrest, what is the difference in cost? If the region are paying for it then surely the cost is irrelevant. The 9x6 sounds a much better option.
In Pivac we trust

Over a grand more to have the bigger option.

Should have added that the bigger option may not fit in all grounds.

So cost was only 1 issue, practicability was another
