I'll reserve judgement until he plays against someone decent not against a terrible Gloucester team.

Every time Ref!

irish were top of the league after beating leicester the other day 18-12. manu went there and shoved their pack around reading.

why are we worried about ben broster? we`ve given manu time and support and he`s improved. we need to concentrate on turning rhys thomas into the finished article. or are we gonna just let his wages go to waste?

Quite right. We've pointed out before that most players who come to the Scarlets improve over time - the reverse of what happens in some other regions.

Personally I think our front row combinations are up there with the best of them at the moment, in fact our front 5 are turning into good bullies which are letting our back row shine - lets not worry about someone who's not with us anymore, but the players we have.

Players can be great for any number of reasons - the Scarlet squad at the moment all seem to be getting on and enjoying their rugby - maybe its down to everyone fitting in and wanting to play their best for each other and the scarlet jersey.

I feel the winds of change in the air over pemberton...

Rugby Times today reports Meeuws in talks with Munster and another ex Scarlet prop Ricky Davies has finished a trial at Dragons and is now on a two week trial at Worcester.
