Toby Faletau has been ruled out of Wales' three-Test tour to Australia as the number eight suffered a broken bone in his hand in their first Test defeat .

The 21-year-old has been replaced in the 34-man squad by Melbourne Rebels' Gareth Delve, who won the last of his 11 caps against Ireland in March 2010.

I thought Delve was lined up for Toulon? Or has that fallen through?

Glad to see him back in the squad - he'll strengthen it for sure.

Cannot speak for Toulon but it does look nice but having holidayed over the years in the areas of Perpignan, Biarritz and Montpellier I can fully understand the attraction to players to go and play over there. The culture, the lifestyle and the pays not bad either. Will not suit everyone but life is to short and sometimes you have to take these opportunities whilst you can. Read an interesting artcicle about Iain Balshaw on how he was having a renaisance in his career since going to Biarritz but just as importantly his young family loved the place.
