I get no problems with wireless to router as long as the ports are open.

Same here, mine is hardwired now, and I've opened a port on my router so that the Xbox takes preference if there is more than once device using bandwidth at any one time Also helps the NAT type too. Before I configured the router, I was getting Moderate or Strict when playing games like COD online, regardless if I rebooted/reset the router with no other devices connected.

If you bought one now
then its built in all -s have them built in. The early versions didnt But saying that I have now hard wired mine as at one point i was getting lag when playing online |
