One of a number of players being lined up at the Drags.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"

"All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us"

See if they'd kept hold of Tovey to play with Rees alongside Prydie and Dan Evs, they'd having the makings have a half decent backline.

We prefer announcing the departures Ladram, requires less effort!

Good signing for the Drags, they are also looking at bringing in an experienced 10, a tight head, a second row and a centre. Their only likely departures of note will be Lydiate and Chavangha (who spends a lot of time injured anyway) so no doubt their squad will be improved due to their budget increase.

The Blues have already brought in Smiler, Gethin and a S15 lock and are looking at an additional prop, centre and back row forward. Roberts is looking like the main departure there with few other players of note leaving. They will therefore be improved presumably because their budget increased.

The O's have lost Fotuali'i to be replaced by Tebaldi but I doubt there'll be other big movements so little change.

So far we on the other hand have already lost Smiler, Stodds, Vallejos, Owen Williams with a few more names to be added to that but only recruited Shingler. With no clarity from management on our budget for next season, its uncertain times for us in the face of expansion from two of the three other regions. No change there though; we always leave things until the last minute!

You could think that we were static last year by some of these comments.

We brought in Vallejos, Adriaanse, Kelly, Ball, Earle and Snyman as well as securing contracts with several existing players. I agree that the announcements could come sooner but March isn't the time to bitch at lack of signings for 2013/14.

Abbey, you can add Gareth Owen, Kristian Phillips and Rawlins. So we were very busy, and other than Vallejos they've all done well or had their moments. Kristian has had a lot of criticism for his defence and should really be kept on the bench if the opposition have big physical wings, so that he can come on after the game opens up and he can start to use his pace and finishing power. I'm sure Gyppo will have a few more surprises for us next season. Let's just hope not too many more shocks. What news is there on Fenby, Adam Warren and Tavis?
