Jeff Hassler is still yet to find a region/club/province for next season.

Quite surprised by that...

Very odd unless he wants to much. Would have thought he would go to the new US league.

Could possibly be it, otherwise it is very odd. I imagine he would command somewhere about £200-250k a year?

Am I on my own in thinking that Hassler at best is a good strong running wing, with his strength as his only asset.

Steff & Johnny are far more skilful.

Hassler changed his mind and decided he wanted to stay with the Ospreys, by that time though they had already used their money and recruited his replacement/s.

Other teams would have been in the same position and used their money, he changed his mind too late.

As someone put it, before resigning in a job, get a new one ready to go to.
Be careful when you pick up the stick.........IT MAY BE THE WRONG END!!!!!!!!!!

He has been a loyal servant to the O's and I am sorry for him that he cannot now find a club. Only 26 as well. Someone may get a bargain buy there!

No chance would he command anywhere near that much. We are talking about £90k-110k max

Bloody hell I seriously doubt he’s worth that much. If he thinks he is then no wonder he’s not contracted!
At the end of the day he’s not much more than a journeyman winger. I can think of 10 better wingers in the league easily.

He must be hoping for a short term injury replacement contract somewhere to help him stay fit until Canada's world cup play offs in November.

Hassler is taking a break from rugby, rejecting the opportunity to join Neath rfc.

Shaun Edwards will work exclusively with Ospreys as part-time defence coach this season, dropping his commitments to the Dragons, before leaving the WRU after RWC19 to become head coach at Wigan. Let's hope this improves their part-time defence.

Rob McCusker's reaction on the Twitter was: "Oh sh*t"
