This is very, very good news. I know we shouldn't judge a player on one game....but Ricky Davies did seem to struggle on Saturday. In saying that Windo and Horsman caused problems for many sides last year.

A Tighthead prop is top of the Scarlets shopping list ahead of their Celtic League opener with Edinburgh a week on Friday. Director of rugby Gareth Jenkins has confirmed that he is close to finalising a deal with a specialist No. 3, although no names have been disclosed.

''Without a doubt we need a tighthead prop it is as simple as that,'' said Jenkins.

''But I don't think there is a rush. We have to make sure we get the right guy.''

Result!

I read in the Wales on Sunday GJ said that the Dave Hewett incident was blamed on his agent saying he was a tight head, when he was really a loose head!!

If this is true then heads (tight or loose) should roll for this...I mean how inept can you be?

Sign me, I can run the 100m in 4 seconds - my agent will confirm this.

Can't believe we would sign anyone without scouting their performances first. What a dumb thing to do.
New KALAMAFONI - BEAST MODE t-shirt now available online.

Plus a new 'Sosban Fach Scoundrels' range.

I didn`t want to mention this and have personally saved it for the right time.

However, as you say, heads should have rolled for this, especially as he was put up at The Stradey park, all expenses paid (allegedly) over christmas.
