Details of this pre season match have been posted on the Scarlets website. On 29th August at Church Bank Llandovery. Not on season ticket.

Red army, the online Season Ticket info says
ï……GUARANTEED SEAT Match ticket and guaranteed seat for: 11 Guinness PRO12 games, 3 European Rugby Champions Cup home games http://scarletsseasontickets.wales/ So I am guessing that there must be some small print there covering their bums. |

Friendliest are always chargeable surely as they are "pre season". I assume prices will be modest though and hopefully will help Drovers bar profits this year which will be good.

Before you all explode into an apoplectic rage, bear in mind the season ticket covers games at Parc Y Scarlets so I'd think that there's another home game to be announced.

It's not always about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

Great idea to play a 'home game' at the Drovers-should be a decent crowd and nice to try something a bit different with our feeder clubs.

Friendlies in the past have been all to pay. They made an exception last year. Some years the friendlies have been a testimonial game also.

Llandovery need to benefit from this venture so they should charge imo The Scarlets have made a mistake if they have put this in the brochure but possibly this game had not been discussed when the brochure was printed. I've got no problem with them charging us as season ticket holders. We were always charged for friendlies before anyway. It's nice to be able to give back to the feeder clubs who do a lot for us. Sometimes you get more back after you have given..It's great PR for us.

I think anyone travelling to Llandovery from Llanelli should now be able to put in a bill for travelling expenses The initiative of playing in Llandovery is a very good one I feel personally, and hopefully will bring in a new raft of Drovers fans with some Scarlet empathies who may come and watch us in Parc Y Scarlets.

The turn out for friendllies at the Parc has frankly been pathetic.
If the club are trying to support the regions I think it's worth a try. Llandovery have an opportunity and I hope they take it. As to paying, free/discounted entrance would help attendance for season ticket holders. I would have liked a double header. |
