Every player in that squad,as come through the Scarlets Academy system, just feel a good few players in there discarded to young and too soon, especially when you consider a good few players who have been brought in to fill there squad places .
Not a bad side there.

But kind of Zebre standard all the same.  We'd expect to beat them convincingly, George and all. Just a bit too lightweight all through the rest of the side.

Unfortunately some of them weren't discarded but just couldn't earn their places in out match 23 or were offered more money elsewhere. I'd like to think that Dom Day and Dan Evans are the only ones would have little difficulty now. I know some will say " What about George North?" - I'll take McNicholl any day.

Of course we can't keep everyone & not too many on that list I'd have back if I'm honest. Hope Dan Thomas, Rhodri Jones & Jordan Williams can become the players we thought they might.
George North, Dominic Day, & Owen Williams are the only dearly departed who would be obvious 1st teamers now IMO.
Given that Luke Hamilton seems a regular starter for Leicester these days we could probably use him too. Be a bit of a kick in the balls if he develops into the no.8 we have been searching for though(!) Smile

Could add Nic Reynolds currently at London Welsh to that list too, and Kieran Hardy at Jersey.

I know this might be hard to believe, but I have actually seen jordan williams making some decent tackles for Bristol.
