Hope that's wrong mark. It's a worry though when the experts struggle to understand the rules.

Shame its not a home tie as our away form is patchy. That late penalty against Richmond looks costly now. Hope the region makes sure the A side is strong as its a good chance for some long awaited silverware.

Just confirmed by the WRU that Scarlets Premiership XV will be away to Ealing Trailfinders in the quarter finals of the British & Irish Cup. Games take place on the weekend of March 10.

Need a tidy side out, Ealing are much better than Nottingham or Richmond. No Scarlets game so let's make sure of it.

Why arent the dates following the Champions Cup rounds again?

Thats the same weekend as the LV semis, if we were to reach the LV semis then it would have a big impact on the Scarlets Select

Is there an official B&I Cup Website? I've looked everywhere but to no avail.

Good spot, that's why there is nothing showing in the fixture list at the moment

QF draw for 10/11/12 March just confirmed by RFU. Wasn't expecting it today.

It is:

Munster A v Ulster A
London Irish v Yorkshire Carnegie
Jersey Reds v Cornish Pirates
Ealing Trailfinders v Scarlets Premiership Select

I wasn't impressed by the shambles of not having a working Parc y Scarlets pitch and the fact we had to walk all the way to the reception and up the stairs to get a drink.  Nevertheless, despite the cold I did enjoy the match and am glad to see the young Scarlets XV do well against a strong Championship team.

What's the difference between us being called a Premiership Select and being called an A team?

I suppose that an 'A' team suggests members of the Scarlets' squad, whereas (as far as I know) many of the players are contracted to the feeder teams - Llanelli, Carm Quins and Llandovery.
