One of our best non Welsh players of the last few decades. Hugely committed and bought into everything that was good about Scarlet rugby.

Over 100 caps for his country says it all.

Used to love his 2 games a season at 13 tearing the Dragons apart.

Great player for us, the model of what you want from a nwq player, he's the type of winger we could do with to replace Sanjay and DTH.

I think he has deffnitely earned a good retirement.  He has always put in everything wherever he has played, and was a very good servent to us.

DTH was such a huge disappointment after Sean Lamont. What a gem he and indeed John Barclay have been. Wonder what Hogg is up too next season with Sanjay leaving? Wink

From Reggie's flair to Lamont's sometimes sheer bloodymindedness. We have been blessed with some good overseas signings and Sean is right up there. The role he apparently has in our recruitment is also vital with I think both DTH and Barclay saying he spoke glowingly of us before they made their decisions to sign.
