Thats a very solid XV made even more exciting by the bench - Wyn, Ryan, Werne, Bulbring/Rawlins/Price, Boyde/Mcloud/Condy, Aled/Jonathan, Dan/Asquith, Hadleigh/Prydie. What is very satisfying is that many of our bench would be comfortable starters & have good experience starting last season. As ever we need some luck with our injury list & lets hope some more lads emerge as we had last season - Condy, Nicky Thomas, Fawcett, Conbeer, Ioan & Corey to name a few.

Quarter Finals? That's an RCC winning side!

Yep, and 12 welsh boys in that 15 and 12 internationals, McNicholl test level, Cubby should have been capped and Beirne will be. That's a heck of a side.

Anyone else really hoping that McNicholl doesn't get dumped on the wing for the whole season? He didn't quite seem so effective from the wing, so if we lose his attacking threat plus limited attacking from FB that'd mean steff evs having a large responsibility.

HP has had some battering at FB over the years as a very brace player and arguably moving back to his Wing position would protect his body from those targeted hits and keep him fitter for longer and allow him to be a footballer ,PLUS we still have his place kicking talent on top. One for the coaches to work out really. Will the WRU be able to dictate his Scarlets position though? 🤔

Can't see why they can't swop roles occasionally, which could cause even more confusion in opposition ranks (so long as it doesn't do the same to us!)
My only other difference with Haydn, Tim Opolis and many others first choice would be at 9. Granted Cawdor's distribution has speeded up but I still think Jonathon and Aled make better decisions and get the backs moving better. Besides Cawdor makes a great replacement, with his pace and power against tiring sides.

McNicoll has terrific acceleration, don't see that on Halfpenny

Really not happy at the Halfpenny signing. Hope he's made to earn his place.

We let Liam go and bring in Halfpenny, probably on more money. Bad bit of business.
