We have some exciting Llanelli RFC talent on show tomorrow and hopefully a decent supporters turnout for the team and new coaching supremo Phil Davies for his first game.

Great to have Crys16 sponsor the Match as well. I gather there will be some details of RFC supporters mini bus deals put together by RFC supporters  for certain away games such as Swansea, The Drovers and Merthyr in the new year! Seemed good value to me anyway! Always great for away support for the young RFC side with already a number of future Scarlets players in the making!

The new retro kit looked good. Takes us back 25 years or so to another big game with the Antipodes! 👍🏉

great stuff as well. Drovers looked very competitive at the friendly with Esther which was pretty feisty in fact , with great defensive structure.

Good start by Llanelli. They looked well organised in defence and at the contact area where they cleaned out well and produced quick ball. Also seemed to have a bit more cutting edge behind. Callum Evans looks sharp and Conbeer whilst still learning defensively is absolutely lethal in offence, he is worth admission price alone. Good decision making, offloads aplenty, backs and forwards. Set piece was solid to strong, scrum especially so when Gardiner was on.

Having praised the rfc I have to qualify that a bit by commenting on Quins. Aside of aggression in defence they were absolutely awful, they must have had a roasting post match. They have a lot of work to do.

Next two games will be a better barometer of where we are at present. But improvement shown.
Tymor nesa Duw, plis tymor nesa.
