It seems somewhat odd that nobody highlighted the problem of NZ nationals needing visas to enter SA. According to the BBC news pages this requirement started at the beginning of this year.
I would have thought that someone from Pro14, Rugby SA and/or the teams involved would have either pointed it out or enquired about the technicalities of visas. One good thing, we were not the first team to go there in the league, so we have been forewarned! |

They probably just asked the Leinster 2 if they needed them last time and got told "Nah, sweet as bro" so didn't think anything more of it.

It will be justice as far as Nacewa is concerned after his neck tackle last week!

Let's not go there. He is a really good player and not a thug. It could happen to anyone in fast tempo modern rugby.Feel sorry for him but losing him is a bonus foe us on paper 👍 |

Can't agree with this at all. It matters not if he's a thug or good player or whatever, it was deserving of a red card and should have been given at the time, and when it wasn't given the citing commission should have called him up on it. It's unbalanced when Steff gets a straight red during a game for a similarly unfortunately incident but then still gets cited for it after the game, yet Nacewa sees only a yellow for something equally as dangerous.

Why not go there? It deserved a red card and a suspension, I didn't suggest he was a thug.

I don't think that Steff was cited. Any red card is an automatic appearance before the disciplinary committee. Citing is only for things that the referee missed or only saw part of it instead and gave a yellow for a red offence. |

John the O's centre was cited after the Zebre game for taking a man out in the air. The incident was reviewed at the time and he was given a yellow card, but subsequently cited and given a 2 match ban.

Agree with that. Nacewa is an excellent player, but he also sails close to the wind on many occasions - sometimes, he's going to come out with the ref (or whoever) deciding that his approach was beyond what is permitted in law.
