Considering he played a massive part in our biggest season for a decade yes I concur. Did he let us down? I can't remember so.

Also, Asquith is class but not a winger. Not sure about Rhys Jones tbh.

Scott has played on the wing for Wales without embarassing himself.

I have no idea why he is being used so little. Carrying a knock?

Haha sorry Ladram.

Dan Jones, the guy who didn't miss many kicks and didn't do much wrong and the one we "invested to keep at the Scarlets" for a number of years. Played out of his skin against big opposition.

In the meet the coaches evening Pivac said he'd been told to work on his defence and in the game management. Not very vocal on the pitch.
He also didn't get much game time in the warm up games due to picking up a head injury against Bristol, so maybe getting match fit with the quins?

Thanks for the info. Guess it's hard being that vocal with two British lions outside you. That said he distributed and kicked well last year. As for defense always thought he was good for his size.

Tonight's game would have suited him more than some of our recent try-fests, as basically there was little threat from the Sprays backs and we could have done with his goal-kicking and longer range touch finders

If we view Dan as a long term asset/prospect, tonight was the right decision.
He's a very young guy and throwing him in to a physical, niggly match against two very good half backs if he's not fully fit would have been a mistake.

Yes agreed if he's not fit it's a no brainer. He's also limited by only being able to play 10. Just highlighting the fact that in tight games his boot is an asset.
