Rawlins been locked in a cage for past month...he's now ready to attack the Toulon fly half like did Biggar and Sexton! #UnleashTheBeast

Rawlins starting at lock. Plus, I believe 3 of Connacht tries came from Macleod miss tackles.
I meant no barclay

No Evans, Cubby or Barclay a blow but that's a good team.

Those 3 are borderline world class players
we do have class replacements and hopefully the likes of boyde rawlins evans and co will show their class

Pivac has picked side with five day turn around in his mind. The lack of pace in their centre has to be exploited nonu last year looked as though he was treading water when he had that interception in the home game can see stef coming in of his wing a lot. They have Huge set of forwards but we are more than capable of handling then we must spread it wide and run them around park. We can do this come on boys.

You can have a go if you like ... I’d be tracking the winger...even if he isn’t my man to mark like..

Now, running at Bastradeau and Nonu....that’s a whole boat full of different gravy.

Might have a bit of fun there.

You don't run at them you run round them quick feet titanic turns quicker than those two though running round Basteraud could take some doing akin to a 10 k

At the risk of being pedantic - It’s always better to try and make these big guys think they can tackle you rather than try and just simply evade them on the outside.

My only concern is a lack of experienced leaders in our pack with Ken not starting and Barclay out. We're up against a seriously intimidating pack - Gorgodze, Fernandez Lobbe, Guirado etc - and some experienced voices are needed in the cauldron of the Stade Mayol if we're to get anything.

Would love us to use Steff and McNicholl in midfield popping up between the 12/13 channel and use their footwork to try and get past the midfield players. Could then see our centres looping around and exposing Nonu on the outside .

Really looking forward to this.
Think, think, think - it's a thinking man's game!! - The Great Carwyn James.

Cool head during the kick-offs, no suicidal off loads in our 22, whenever Halfpenny is in range in the first half- take the points and continue in the second half if scores close. When they start looking tired bring on Cawdor and Ken. Come on boys -make a real statement that we can win this competition.

I think their most important player will be Facundo Isa- the Argentinian. He's a superb carrier.
Tuisova their winger is pretty handy too. As an aside, if someone can embarrass/smash Ashton that will be very enjoyable to watch.

It's about being smart and staying in the game. Toulon are going to come at us full throttle, but if we are within touching distance going into the last quarter we have a chance. Patience and discipline will be key here as will the boot of Mr Halfpenny
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1
