Makes you seriously nervous watching the rest of our players in these internationals. I really hope they release samson from the squad, achillies injuries can end careers and these autumn internaionals have no bearing on world cup seeding. Massive ask for scarlets double header against treviso, half the squad will have played 3/4 internationals amd the other half will have had 2 demanding games in SA!

Isn’t the pinnacle of a players career in any sport representing their country? This putting the blame on Wales is a bit silly.

if WRU now have to cover all his wage (not just the 60% as part of the dual contract) then do we look to bring in an experience player on a short term deal until the end of the season

Agree, it could just as easily have happened while he was playing for the Scarlets
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

Lets withdraw Hadleigh and Scott immediately.

How did you vote in the EU referendum, out of interest?

Injuries are part of the game, we've got to be able to cope without him / whoever is out. An opportunity for Steff Hughes and Ioan Nicholls and at least Foxy will be back for the playoff run at least.

Utterly gutted. One of the best Centres around and he's already lost large chunks of his career to long term injury. I feel for him.

Get well soon Foxy...at least the Scarlets would appear to have a good rep for taking care and rehabbing correctly and responsibly crocked players so that augers well.

Still got to feel for the guy though.....

Terrible news for both himself and us. We should be seeing the likes of Asquith and Hughes on a more permanent basis in the 23 man squad for the rest of the season.
Only one team plays in red. (Sorry, Scarlet)

Was it a tackle that he was injured in or did his foot get stuck in the turf

His foot got caught underneath him and twisted his ankle as he went down. Purely bad luck, nothing more.

Terrible news. Hopefully he will be back start of April with a bit of luck.

Big pressure on Scott and Hadleigh now. But also a good chance for Steff Hughes to step up.

Big shame for us. Seen so many posts saying 'What a blow for Wales'. Bugger Wales, he plays more games for us! Let's hope he's back just in time for the Pro 14 final. Speedy recovery, Jon.
