With Webb off maybe first team opportunities for Aled at the Ospreys. Hope it turns out well for him.

A shame to see another one of ours defect to to our bitterest rivals but that's life these days.

For me Gareth has been outstanding this autumn despite what the pundits and press say and I am torn between what order they would be but on form Gareth for me first and think Jonny is the most complete player of the 3 whilst Aleds service does quicken the game up and will change the way the Ospreys play next year.

He did tail off badly in the second half..Webb was very good and is clearly far better

Indeed. Aled had an excellent first half, but seemed to lose the plot a bit in the second.

Aled's second half performance could be due to his lack of fitness/experience in starting. If you normally play 20 minutes  against lesser opposition you are hardly likely to be able to cope with a much improved international side in a hectic second half.

I suggest we should ask Mike Phillips if he wants to see the year out. The experience he could pass on alone would be worth it.

Completely agree about Phillips, the management should seriously consider this.
I wouldn't be completely against bringing Knoyle back for next season, I think he would be ok as third choice. Obviously not a like for like replacement for Aled, but having three scrum halves of that quality could never last too long.

I also think Tavis Knoyle would make a good third choice scrum half. He's a character and got on very well with Stevo, when Stevo was playing.

?? Evans is by far the best defensive 9.
