We've celebrated a lot as a club lately. The wonderful achievement of beating the Wallabies, showing what can be achieved by self belief and the will to win.. We have always risen to the occasion, when the chips are down so its time to get behind the team for the forthcoming encounters. I really want a new page written in our European exploits.   Ymlaen y Scarlets ymlaen. As Delia Smith once said Let's be having you.

Well, we certainly need a win in Europe. 1 draw & 3 losses in our last 4 games, I think.

Are the boys back in training today? Cant imagine they did a lot yesterday (when did the S A squad arrive back in South Wales?) I would have thought we've got two pretty knackered squads trying to put it all back together again.
Keep the faith

Much will depend on which Scarlets side and which Benetton side turns up on Saturday.

The weather forecast is decent - expect light cloud and running rugby.

It was a cracking effort by the seconds/thirds out in South Africa and I cant wait for Saturday and to get behind the boys. We have to be bold and attack. We need five, get that and we're still alive in the group.

Now we know there may be snow, let's get the under soil heating on in good time.

The High Velt and 25C to possibly snow, that would be something the players wouldnt have experienced before.

Yep 5 points is essential now our our goose is cooked. We need 5 away points too but one step at a time
Lets hope we dont panic and over-elaborate.
Is Cawdor fit? He could be crucial
Id like to see patchell take control now and hopefully a good run will see him usurp biggar for the welsh jersey too
Cawdor is expected to be fit to play

IF we can see a team of hapenny, jonny mcnic, scot, hp, steff, patch, cawdor, barclay, cubby, shingler, bullbring, beirne, kruger, elias , rob
That side can do a lot of damage

Shingler is being rested for two weeks. Can't see Rob in the 23. Cawdor maybe bench & we may rest Scott.

Well at least we have boyde back and playing well
What of rawlins is he fit?

Well said, this is because Pivac has the foresight to plan ahead where as Gatland just seems to plan 1 year at a time. That’s the only reason why Wales are currently in the mess that they are in, with players selected to play a style of play alien to them etc.
Pivac has slowly built a squad of players who he can trust to play the style of rugby that he wants, and has built strength in depth in almost every position on the field.
Whatever team he selects for Saturday should be good enough to win the game, providing that they don’t try and force the game too early on and slowly build into the game and use the bench wisely.

we need to get 10 points from this double header.nothing less will do imo.we've put ourselves in this position, because of our less than impressive display, against a bog standard bath team at home the other week.scarlets need to right the wrongs of that night.

Can't agree with you. I will take 8 points from the next two. We have to win all 4 remaining games which would give us 18 points. Maybe not quite enough to top the group but enough to finish runner up. Many sides have qualified with 18 points as best runners up. Of course one 4 try bonus point would really enhance our chances.

We need to start cautiously tomorrow and build up a bit of a lead before going all out for the bonus point in what will probably not be the best of conditions/ circumstances for our running style. It will not be the end of the world if we fail to get the bonus point but Treviso will definitely be out of the competition if they lose and then it may be easier to get a winning bonus point in the return match. As Bath and Toulon have discovered it's not easy to beat Treviso, let alone score 4 tries. 9points from the two games will still see us back in the competition.

Without a doubt Ffidel.
