What about Johnathan Evans on the wing with Pridie to full back to allow Patch to play flyhalf.
Keep the faith

How can you overlook Shingler on the wing, or even Cubby, given that we’ve got more fit forwards than backs?

As good as Dan Jones has been lately, I would like to see Patchell start at fly half, he gives us that little bit extra in my view. If fit McNicholl is a dangerous full back.

Prydie and Nicholas are good solid wingers in my view, given opportunity I think they will finish.

Agree with above, like Asquith but is not quick enough to play wing. Chance if selected for prydie and nicholas to prove themselves.

We really should be putting teams like Bath away without a problem.
I genuinely believe that

If we get to that point, we'll have won several ECCs and we haven't. We're good, improving and have hopes but Bath are pretty good as well.

Bath lack consistency, they're off the back of an away win. Lets just see what team turns up on the day.

Would be missing quite a few backs if Mac and HP are out.

Most of those not starters for them in big matches though

Don't think thats quite correct. Catt, Ewels, Louw, Faletau & Roko are all 1st 15 starters.

Even if so that is only 5 out of the 11 players listed, which still means most are not first team starters

Would fancy us to win more if both teams were fully fit.

Whens the team announced?

Bath can afford to lose 5 1st team regulars far more than we can. They have very deep pockets compared to us. However our pack, if they play to their full potential, are very strong - as are our 9/10/12 & 13. I would not say I'm confident but we are in with a shout.

Most BT commentators think Bath just due to home advantage but Barnes thinks, like I do, that the loss of Louw at the breakdown could be significant as we have total class in that area. Indeed the struggles of the Aviva teams in the tournament so far have been a lot to do with coming 2nd best at the breakdown.

If we get our fundamentals right - scrum strong, lineout efficient and Aaron sets the tone for our line speed then the breakdown edge could be the key factor in us playing the game in their territory. As for goal kicking if Dan plays he kicks ahead of Patchell if the Dragons game is a pointer.
