"Wales forward James King is back after injury for Ospreys at Connacht tomorrow night, while international prop Rhodri Jones is switched to his old position of loose-head."

Several years too late!

What was the last what, 5 years for Rhodri? 🙄 You were a good Loose head ready to move onwards and upwards not backwards. A shame.

Such a shame for Rhodri as when he first started playing for Llanelli RFC you could see his potential at Loose Head and then on Gatland's advice he changed to Tight Head but unfortunately for Rhodri it hasn't worked out well for him! We sat behind his Dad down PYS and he was so proud of his son and everyone was telling him Rhodri was good enough to be the next Loose Head to take over from Gethin Jenkins!!

I never understood why Rhodri didn't just say: "This TH lark doesn't suit my frame - I'm going to take my chance as a LH from now on." Sometimes, you just have to stand up for yourself - maybe it was an NDC, though? That would have cost him cash money.

I think he played LH last week in the Anglo/Welsh, but as no one cares about the competition (media wise) it never reached the papers etc. Think he's struggling for a contract now.

Rather than get better at TH he went from struggling to worse.  He started off as work in progress, even getting capped, but his last few months with us were shocking, he was getting tied up in knots every game.  It'll be interesting to see if he can find his feet again at LH.
