Good news. Gareth is on his first NDC isn't he so he looks very much key to the Wales set up along with Foxy and Jake. Having 60% paid by Wales is good as well!

Wonder if the 60% saving in Cawdors contract could be going towards the 40% for George?

Excellent news that we're keeping these boys, especially when there was talk Jake would be moving on.
We effectively have a top level European second row, one of the best backs and probably the best 13s in the world on his day, and the most dangerous running 9 in the Northern Hemisphere, for 40% of the price.

It's probably helped that his injury record over the last two years has been pretty bad, but I thought he was off too. This is tremendous news though. Huge statement of intent for next year too, before we're at the business end of this one.

I wonder how much the “60 cap” rule now play in the decision making process of player’s future movements?

Where did these rumours about Jake leaving come from? I've met him a few times and he's always seemed very committed to both us and Wales, and I haven't seen anything in the press or on social media. Anyway a good news tnewsday!!
