Heck of a performance against the leaders away. To lose at the last kick of the game was gutting. Even Merthyr fans said we deserved a win! As to the ref least said!Rfc can hold heads high!

  Gwyn Morris  was it ?? if so him and Hennessy I cringe once they officiate a RFC or Scarlets game ...

He did. Was really firing. Personally I prefer him at 12 although he does like 10. I stupidly asked him post match where his dad was doohh... Oh yes Wales v France in about 3 hours . Is McBryde good enough to step up? It appears we are signing O'Brien to compete for the 10 berth - this suggests that McBryde is not on our radar.

He's on his way. He might make pro somewhere else but he's not better now (and I doubt he will ever be) than Dan Jones, or if he's seen as a 12 he's nowhere near the standard of Steff Hughes or Asquith.
The fact that Ioan Hughes was put on the bench for recent games and the SA tour (no representational experience, first season of semi pro rugby etc) says a lot about where Billy is in the pecking order.
