It looks like we are searching for one person with no proof just tweets. Scarlets have already confirmed they are looking into it, the people that tweeted have given statements, whether the guilty can be found is another thing altogether.
unless the person involved can be identified by cctv/friends/or he comes forward/or his chants picked up on tv mics, i dont think anything can be done.

the press are making a huge thing out of one person - who was told to shut up by his own mates and that was the end of it. a moment of madness by him perhaps, but completely unacceptable. Hope he can be identified and the appropriate action can be taken against him. not the club.

once something like this was out on social media, it was always going to be in the press. its the world we live in.

Yes, the real story here is that decent Scarlets fans confronted an idiot and shut him up, however that doesn't make a good story.

Exactly and thanks to social media we'll all be tarred with the same brush! Why do the press love putting out negative stories all the time? It's so [beep]ing depressing!

'A small section of home fans are understood to have made monkey noises and racist comments throughout the home side's 29-17 win.....Despite stewards being aware of the abuse during the first half it continued during the second period.' - The Times suggests it was more than 'a moment of madness.'

But that's not what the witnesses who have come forward are claiming! what happened and what the press say happened - two different things.

There seem to be conflicting stories floating about whether the incident was made known to stewards at the time or not. IF a steward(s) was aware of the incident and didn't act then that is a serious issue that needs to be raised. I have found myself wondering on a few occasions, particularly this season, if Safestyle are up to the job. There was the streaker who was completely ignored by stewards, and an incident in the enclosure earlier on in the season where stewards were made aware of abusive behaviour and no real action was taken. At least when that idiot ran on the pitch in the La Rochelle match he was pursued by stewards.

I was at the game , had 3 kids with me. I heard no racist noises but a bit of bad language (nothing too shocking)

Especially considering the pressure on the game and the amount of drink taken, by any means) a few people were  dropping the odd f bombs.

While not pleasant these things do happen and I explained to the kids that people say stupid things in the heat of the game

All clubs have fans who misbehave at times but as a rule our fans are excellent , noisy and passionate but not yobs. I agree with every one else here any one making racist or indeed overly abusive comments should be slung out and banned

But hand on heart it is not a major problem at PYS (or on here for that matter)

I have no issues taking the kids to the games and will continue to do so

Shame the Western Mail aren't as quick to moderate the comments on their stories on their website as quick as they were to put the story up about this incident.

There's some pretty disgusting comments on there around the Folau story, some of them have been there for 16/17 hours.

I guess that as expected, it was a load of nonsense.

Perhaps we should now put this issue to one side and hope it doesn't rear its ugly head again.

The club were always unlikely to renounce publicly the results because it just puts them back in the news with negative connotations (again).
I do know some of the pitch invaders have had bans.

So they should too, that's great news if true!

How do they exactly enforce a ban? Whats to stop that persons friend buying 2 x tickets under his own name, address etc and just walking in again?
