It was suggested yesterday that if we had already renewed our season tickets for next year, that we would get a free ticket for the QF ??

Anyone know if this is true or not please ?

Season ticket holders can buy them on Monday before they go on general sale on Tuesday. Final day for early bird season tickets on Monday too. Going to be busy in the ticket office!

So if I buy my ticket online this evening do I have to pick it up, print it or do they send it out to me? In effect the club are saying to season ticket holders, get your ticket TODAY or loose it, am I right?

Am I alone in thinking this is a bit tight? The fans have been spending huge amounts of money following the team so far during an already expensive season and now what is still effectively a league game is now extra again and at full price. Assuming we win, I have no issue with paying Glasgow for a ticket for the next game but this is a surprise. Also if I'm reading the press release correctly, ST holder only have 1 afternoon to buy their own seat before tickets go on general sale meaning if you can't pop in/get through, you may end up somewhere else in the ground rather than the excellent seat you may already have (or will ST tickets be held for the ST holder). I appreciate this is a very negative post, apologies.

I very much hope that it'll be possible to print the ticket - there is no way I can get down to Llanelli before Saturday.

I may have misunderstood it, but I thought that ST holders were being offered tickets at a discounted price - maybe someone else can clarify this?

You're correct. Discounted for ST holders.

It's not effectively a league game. It's knock out rugby.

Why do you not have an issue paying Glasgow for the next game which by your own words is "effectively a league game" but do take issue paying for an additional home game that wasn't (and couldn't have been) included as part of the season ticket?

I don't see how the club can manage it any differently considering the game is 5 days away, it's a balancing act between giving ST holders first refusal with the need to get the tickets on general sale asap with such a short turnaround to maximize attendance.

RE: popping in / getting through, it's extremely easy to do it online through ticketing system imo.

Hard to complain about being in a quarter final, the other regions would love to be in our position. I'm just thankful I support this club and we've been blessed with so many big games this season (with more to come hopefully!) Roll on Saturday Thumbs Up
