WalesOnline ran a piece on what the other 3 Regions have to do to catch up with the Scarlets.

Here are 4 projected starting XV & replacements + 'strength in depth' for next season - not sure there are many I'd swap for our lads...

Or quality has been our downfall this season. We had so many players away with wales we struggled international time.

a lot of next season I believe we will see very little of all our NDC boys with world cup coming up.
i expect a lot of management will also come into it with Wales regualars being rested more than this and last season because of the looming world cup.

I see our most regular 15 next season being:
Clayton Blommetjies
Johnny McNicholl
Kieron Fonotia
Paul Asquith
Tom Prydie
Rhys Patchell
Sam Hidalgo Clyne
Uzair Cassiem
James Davies
Blade Thomson
Steven Cummins
Lewis Rawlins
Werner Kruger
Ryan Elias
Wyn Jones
with the likes of Foxy, Halfpenny, Cawdor, Rob, Ken, Samson, Ball picked in europe and big league games only.
Just what I am expecting.

That reasoning is sound - hopefully the other pro 14 sides will be as affected. Thats a decent team with the likes of Jonathan Evans, Dan Jones, Steff Hughes, Phil Price, Taylor Davies, Simon Gardiner, David Bulbring, Tom Price, Josh McLoud, Will Boyde, Ryan Conbeer, Ioan Nicholas & Dan Davies waiting in the wings!!!!!!

Looking at that makes me feel a bit sad with the lack of welshies tbh. I know it's professional sport just that's how I feel that's all

But surely it should fill you with immense pride when you see that the majority of our starting XV is Welsh...

During World Cup years and 6N we become heavily reliant on NWQs. We still have our share of players in the squad during this period also:
Phil Price, Dylan Evans, Daf Hughes, Simon Gardiner, Tom Price, Wil Boyde, Josh Macleod, Dan Davis, Jonny Evans, Kieran Hardy, Declan Smith, Dan Jones, Angus OBrien, Ryan Conbeer, Cory Baldwin, Ioan Nicholas, Steffan Hughes, Tomi Lewis, Tomi Rogers...
That’s on top of the Welsh 10+ internationals.

Just as a bit of fun & because it is a free weekend *sigh*, if you were able to sign any one player from each of the other 3 regions, who would you go for?

For me it would be
Dragons: Harrison Keddie
Ospreys: Scott Williams
Blues: Owen Lane

It’s frightening how many ex-Scarlets there are in the first choice sides for the other three regions. Guess it goes to show we are producing a lot of decent players

For quality and depth bearing in mind where we're a bit light I'd go:

Amos
Dee
AWJ
