Great win for the Young Turks today. Llanelli 31 - 30 Bedwas.

It was a really hard fought, exciting game and we did just enough to gain the victory.

He’s had a couple of games for Emlyn ( that I was at ), oddly didn’t really stand out.

Then again it was s big step up in class for him there.

Cough.

Ashley has been better at 15, good runner, very elusive! Game management from 10, not so good but that can improve with experience and good coaching.
Emlyn have a very good talented youngster who kept him out of the 10 spot!

Llandovery now next Saturday away. Would be wonderful to finish off with a 4th straight win! Well done Head coach Paul Fisher with assistant coaches Emyr Phillips and Nigel Mills for your skills in getting the best out of our youngsters!  A win away at Church Bank would be icing on the rugby cake!

We are lucky to have Ioan Hughes (injured) and now Ashley in the RFC. Both very skilled. Ashley  certainly goes for it. Yes with risk now and then but a couple of the forwards ( clever blokes!) told me that they appreciate the  'risks' and get ready to jump in when it goes wrong! He will improve as of course will Ioan. All good news I think! Thumbs Up
