Toulon and Toulouse down in the lower seeding pots, after two away wins in the Top14 Barrages.

Lyon and Castres catch Scarlet Fever 🤒

Would be delighted with us getting Lyon in our pool. A fantastic city. Castres, too, is good fun as we know.

Does anyone have a handle on who we might have in our group, and who we'll definitely avoid - or is it too early for that?

For example - presumably as finalists we'll be 1st or 2nd seed for the pro-14, so does that mean we definitely avoid Sarries and Exeter of England, and Leinster?

If we are first seed, we will avoid other first seeds.

If we are second seeds, we will avoid either all first seeds, or none, depending on whether we are the first second seed to be drawn out of the pot.

Wherever we finish, we are not guaranteed to avoid both Exeter & Saracens, or any other competition’s first and second seeds.

It all depends how Lady Luck treats us in the draw on 20th June.

Would be great to get Lyon. Went there for the Wales Euro semi final last year. Lovely place.

OK - thanks!

I think we're good enough to get out of any pool, but in terms of wear and tear on the players, it would be nice to have a few 'easy-ish' games.

Don't see too many easy-ish games for anyone. Suppose a pool of us Wasps, Ulster & Castres/Lyon/Toulouse would be pretty manageable.

Might well be missing a first/second seed from that pick.

It’d be a pretty good group travel wise.

Wasps will be second seeds won't they as they made their play offs? I have a rough idea of how it will look

So first seeds will be- us, Leinster, Exeter, Sarries, Montpellier, Racing
Second seeds will be play off qualifiers but not finalists- Munster, Glasgow, Wasps, Newcastle, Lyon, Castres.
Third seeds- Leicester, Bath, Blues, Edinburgh, Toulon, Toulouse.
Also Gloucester (as losing Challenge Cup finalists with Blues already qualified) and one of Ulster/Ospreys, who have qualified through the play off.

Really? When ive ridden thro it it looked like an eastern block country. I want La Rochelle. And any teams we havnt had before for the freshness of the trips. Although wouldnt mind Ulster, they are there for the taking if they get thro.

Gloucester would be a nice one too.

Didnt la Rochelle qualify for europe? I thought they only missed out on the play offs?
