Safe standing involves rail seats.

These can be locked or released as needed.

So if you want the seats down, or if the rules of the competition require seats down, this is possible.

But the seats can be locked in an upright position, so that you then have the rails to control the standing crowd.

Introducing safe standing would be a major financial investment for little gain, seeing as we already offer a standing option at the ground.

Terracing behind the posts, similar to that of the North Stand, would certainly fill the gaps currently infront of both East and West stands.

The other idea to up the capacity, would be to seat the empty corners of the stadia (apart from the corner with the large gated exit).

Thats exactly what i mean. We could install a trial in the areas where we intalled the temp seating, and maybe even convert the East stand from permanent seats to Safe standing rail seats. Thus our ground would easily meet the 15k requirment in future, and be capable of maximising any other sellouts we have in future.

Exaclty, and the corners would be certainly something for the future were we to keep this rate of growth for the next few seasons.

We simply cannot afford to rest on our laurels now, we have waited and dreamed for years of getting back to competiting with the top table of European rugby, we really need to be pro-active while we have this head start on so many other sides.
