Honestly, if this tigers fan is of the general consensus of them, I think your in for an almighty shock this year. Direct paste from their forum wall 🙄Racing can blow hot and cold at times and no longer have Carter. Lambie is out for six months so it’s Russell at ten. Catch him on a bad day and you can get after them. For Scarlets, they’ve lost Berne, Barclay and Williams, all key players in their success of the last few seasons and I’m not convinced the replacements are as good. Good set of backs and play fast rugby, it’s Patchell that really makes them tick, massively under rated. Halfpenny is on the down slope and doesn’t pose a threat in open play any more, their back three isn’t exceptional, but the centres are and it’s that 10-12-13 area that you have to neutralise. They also don’t have any depth so if there are injuries there’s a massive drop off in talent (see the pasting Edinburgh gave their second string near the end of the season and compare it to the playoff game v Glasgow a few weeks later). So although a bit of luck would be required, it’s far from impossible. Alternatively Tigers might meet Russell on one of his complete genius days and get ripped into shreds, and Scarlets might have everyone fit and firing with their forwards clicking.

I do like being totally underestimated, let them think what they like. we just need to concentrate on our own game. anyhow its a long time until we play them so lets wait and see

Exactly Plus a myriad of young guns desperate to make a mark like Conbeer, Baldwin, Hardy, Dan Davis, Ed Jackson, O'Brien and others who play fairly regularly like Dylan Evans, Gardiner, Helps....

It will be interesting how we replace Beirne in particular as Foxy more than makes up for Scott and the back row additions will help. Jake is a very good lock but Beirne was special.
