Amos and Adams, would like to see them in Scarlets shirt After the World Cup

First of all, I'd like to say that the ref and his assistants had an excellent game... no blatant or obvious errors, that I saw...

Secondly, Peyper reffed the scrums very well - what a pleasure not to have a game where about half the time is taken up with re-set scrums....

Third - my one disagreement with the ref - later on, the Wales scrum pushed Argentina back miles, with Rob to the fore... but he was penalised (for not pushing straight, I think)... on this one occasion I believe Peyper got it wrong... the Welsh scrum was well on top in that one, and the fact that it wheeled was down to Argentina not being able to take the pressure, especially on Rob's side... but a minor quibble, and I haven't watched it back yet.

Great game from the officials otherwise, though.

Thought Peyper’s moustache was a bit retro and a good weapon in helping the players relax and smile when looking at him.

In the second video, Moriarty clearly attempts to bite him or indeed does bite him, yet I can`t find anything on this in the media. Am I seeing things here (I don`t think I am).

Question for the refs.

When Arg cross kick to left wing was knocked forward by the wing, Josh Adams, iirc, touched down for the 22 drop out.

However, Peyper insisted that it had to be the scrum for the knock on as Wales had no advantage.

Why on earth can’t he give the 22 drop out? He’s not blown his whistle; the ball is still in play and that’s how the play unfolded. If the team who’ve not infringed prefer the 22m drop out, it seems complete sense to let them have it.

For a knock on going out of play, teams get the choice.

Hope someone can clarify.

In the first video it looks as though the Argentinian punches Moriarty in the face as he falls.

Not a great look all round, and that incident should keep the citing commissioners in biscuits for a few weeks at least.
Moriarty- Extended contact with the neck area. Possible bite/attempt?
Sanchez- Contact with Moriarty's head on the way down, a borderline punch.
The Argentinian who comes in (don't know who) - aggravating the incident and contact with head/neck of Moriarty.
Medic- should not be on the pitch unless called on and absolutely should not make contact with a player under any circumstances.

Bad note to end a good tour.

I just wondered what the reaction would be if it was a Scarlet players head which was on the end of his gnashers?

I hope he gets a massive ban. Biting is the lowest of the low, up there with eye gouging.

I've seen this happen before, and have wondered the same thing - pretty obviously, it's better for the defending team to restart with a drop-out, rather than a 5m scrum.

Peyper made it pretty clear that the laws didn't allow this - though I'm not sure which law he was applying - maybe refs can clarify? IMHO, this is a law that should be changed, pretty obviously.

It's also not consistent - unless the law has changed, when a team knock the ball on into touch, the non-offending team can opt for a scrum or a line-out, unless I am imagining things.

Aber, absolutely with the scrum or line out compare and contrast example.
