A cracking game of rugby which South Africa Schools won 43-40 scoring a try during the final play, Scarlets  Joe Roberts try Jack Price and Jac Morgan two tries all started Harri Doel Callum Williams and came off the bench and Osian Knott,Llew Phillips Taylor and Carwyn Tupolotu were unused subs ..

Surely eight Scarlets out of a squad of 27 is not a bad return Wink

It is a 'FIRA' tournament Mark (whatever that means), meaning these are guys who won't/aren't U18s this coming season. It is their last hurrah from season 17/18.

It is a long time since the Scarlets have had a 2nd row and no 8 in the age grade group. Happy days.

Mark/Steve - I know it's difficult to tell at this age but if you had to pick out a couple of Scarlets lot that you expect to make the step up who do you think are most likely at this moment in time? Looking forward to watching the game tomorrow.

For what its worth Alun I have heard good things about the centre pairing Knott & Roberts a 12/13 combination.

Cheers GPR. Centre development seems strong at the moment. Osian starting tomorrow I see. As Will said the most positive aspect is seeing a Scarlets second row starting, would be great to develop one into the first team for the first time in a long time (ever?). The only other position I worry about a little in terms of what's coming through at the moment is Outside Half. Any prospects there?
