Koch didn’t play. He warmed up a bit but then was withdrawn before KO.

Good local derby. Could have gone either way. The only rugby game on this weekend so much appreciated 👍

Yes enjoyable game with some good tries. Best result for us at the end of the day. Now we need our nearest and dearest to do us some favours next weekend. After all the rumours in recent days they surely owe us one.

No worries.

Apparently, it was a record number of journalists there, being the only game in England.

In today’s Times, Stephen Jones said the score flattered Saracens.

I watched it on their streaming service. The commentators, interviewees, pundits etc all stood favourable comparison to our regular diet so hats off to Ealing.

Hardly any subs used for Ealing, injury only iirc. After all this time away from playing and a shortish looking competition, it’s probably not that surprising.

WoL reporting the Blues are interested signing Matthew Screech from the dragons & they’ve also picked up on Knott to Ospreys rumours.

Best part of the game was when a passing train sounded its horn and the Edinburgh scrum-half thought it was a half-time hooter and booted the ball off.

Thanks for that. Such are the knife edge difference in results, it’s extremely funny to have a new reason for not having won.
