With Barclays extended downtime his chances are much higher of being involved for Scotland at 6 or 8. I think Uzair will be back for Connacht so hopefully Blade can have a little rest on weeks 4 & 5 ( Kings) ready for a push against Ospreys & Heineken. The he will be in camp and may make his International debut against Wales in Cardiff!!!!

While appreciating squad rotation, injuries etc, we must be fully loaded for what may be a huge challenge.

With our injury situation squad rotation is happening planned or not. I would like to see Blade given some time off but with McLoud & Uzair crocked he has to go again. To underestimate Benetton would be crazy. As it is Foxy, Casseim, Rob, Steff & Aaron will be 5 starters missing on Saturday.

What is the situation with Will Boyde because he would be another option at 8. Seems like we have seen him in ages!! One thing is for sure, when we have a fully fit squad there will be some selection headaches! Looking forward to seeing Asquith get some more minutes....classy player! As bionic as Parkes is he's going to need resting at some point and would love to see Asquith becoming a genuine option at 12.

Maybe for their similar fisical constitution, but for me Fonotia could be the perfect back up of Parkes..also he could play the same game plan

Wil had surgery on his shoulder I believe after last season as did Lewis. Pivac in an update some weeks ago suggested that both would be back around mid September. Lewis was on the bench last week so hopefully Wil will be ready soon. With regard to cover for Hadleigh - our game is based on the 12 being able to carry into contact. He is often involved in securing re-starts for instance. Asquith is not really built for that having a lot more pace so suited to 13. I think we may see Fonotia & Hughes covering 12 with Fonotia & Asquith covering 13 during the windows.
