Nothing announced yet regarding Cubby's injury.

Thought he has had a scan last week?

No news is good news I guess, but has anyone heard any whispers?

Heard it was his PCL (knee). 16 weeks out. That’s a massive emphasis on “heard” though. Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see is usually sound advice.
Only one team plays in red. (Sorry, Scarlet)

Connacht game showed just how reliant we are on a out and out 7. Hopefully Josh and Will are back soon. Hopefully Cubby isn't out for too long!

Apparently Wil not available until the end of October but Josh should be back for Ospreys. If Dan was fit it was a big mistake by the coaches not to play him last Saturday.

Pivac sees Josh as a 7 long term so I would personally expect him to fill in for Cubby if he's out for a while.
I still wake up late at night and think of what might have been when tim stimpson hit that jammy penalty1

It did, didn't it - though there were a few other factors (too many mistakes, passing to players being blitzed etc.).

I suppose the coaches didn't want to overplay the young Dan Davis or put too much pressure on him, but in retrospect it might have been worth the gamble.

I think we'll have to change our style of rugby now to suit the new back rowers who are all tall and athletic. I think we tried to play defensively by spreading out instead of jackling, against Connacht, but we were too passive in the tackle and uncoordinated in our rush defence. We need to play a conservative/positional game until our jacklers are back.
Keep the faith

Sorry greypower, not easy to change the style after 4 games, did anyone expect all the 7's would be out at the same time.

Be careful when you pick up the stick.........IT MAY BE THE WRONG END!!!!!!!!!!

John Hardie rumour doing the rounds seeing that he is clubless at the moment.
Wonder if there's interest our end to bring him in until the end of the season.

A couple of seasons ago he was International standard but then got caught up in recreational drugs issues and the wrong side of cockers who has Hamish Watson at his disposal. Don't see us going for a short term deal even if Cubby out for a few months. We have McLoud back for Ospreys game & Boyde back at end of October. Until then McLoud & Dan to share the load.
